hello everyone! welcome to my blog. i find bios and compartmentalizing myself quite difficult, but here goes!

i've had a passion for creativity of many kinds from a young age. this passion is a big tree that branches from creative writing and journalism, to photography and filmmaking, to the clothes i wear and how i style my hair. i've even recently started my own press-on nail business (kured by kay). check it out below.

i'm the second of three children and the (cat) mom of two rambunctious boys. although born, raised, and currently residing in birmingham, i've lived in ohio (for school), new york city (for work), and have visited a few other places across the united states. traveling in general — next to food and music — is, in my opinion, a top five enriching life experience.

 

spirituality, philosophy, and astrology are my metaphysical subjects of interest. i am not a "sports fan," especially mainstream sports, but i love haphazardly catching tennis, soccer, and Olympic sports and just the general competitive nature of the game. also not a "gamer," but i'll indulge from time to time. i can knit a stitch or two. oh, and books are also cool.

 

really, this blog is a place for me to live all of my many lives, to hang my many hats, to stoke the many irons i have in the fire.  it's a direct reflection of me and all (or most) of the things i enjoy, a glimpse of me at my most authentic and vulnerable. i talk about a bit of everything here, and while this is not meant for "professional" purposes, a lot of my interests bob and weave through my professional work.

 

in no way, shape, or form do i consider myself an "influencer" ... simply a person who cares deeply about the state of humanity. social media façades can sometimes distort things in a way i try my best to avoid. i'm just me. take it or leave it!
